What kind of home care services do you provide?
HollyServices provides companion care and personal care services to families in Southern California. Our compassionate and individualized in-home senior care include: light housekeeping, meal preparation, running errands, fall prevention, medication reminders, bathing assistance and more. Our parents prefer Japanese bilingual caregivers. What are their credentials?
Our Japanese caregivers are:
- Bilingual and Bicultural
- Experience in Japanese home cooking
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- Background checked
- Bonded and insured employees of Hollyservices
- Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA) as needed
- Health Screened and TB tested
- Reference Checked
We also employ caregivers from different nationalities to fit your needs.
How quickly can we start our home care services?
Our services can start as fast as 2-3 days after our FREE in-home assessment.
Which Southern California areas does HollyServices serve?
Our area of operations span from Ventura County, Greater Los Angeles Area, Orange County and San Diego County.
Is there a long term contract that we are bound to?
There are no long-term contract with us. You can discountinue our service anytime. We just ask to let us know at least a week in advance.
What happens when your caregiver calls in sick or takes a vacation?
HollyServices can help fill those shifts from our robust pool of caregivers.
What is the minimum hours required to start your services?
4 hours per week is our minimum requirement
How much does your in-home service cost?
Each family is unique and has specific needs that we do our best to fit your family's budget. Factors that determines the costs are:
- Level of care needed
- Number of people that receives home care
- Hours of service throughout the week
- Transporation needs
- Certified Nursing Assistant level care
Are home care services covered by insurance?
Many private long-term care insurance policies cover in-home care services. Please check with your insurance company provider for details.
Do we pay the caregiver directly?
HollyServices takes care of payroll for the caregivers for you. We invoice our clients on a monthly basis ( Most agencies invoice weekly or biweekly ).
Can your caregivers help out my father who is living at an assisted living retirement community?
Yes. We provide care for seniors at their own residence, nursing homes or any other senior care establishments such as Nikkei Gardens.
How do I change my schedule?

To what degree can Hollyservices assist with medications?
Holly Services will remind our clients when it is time to take the medication. Caregivers are not allowed to administer medications. In addition, Holly Services employees are not allowed to fill your pill caddy. We recommend you identify a responsible person to keep your pill caddy filled.
